I've experienced boarding school from nearly every angle — first as a student, and later as a coach, an educator, a dorm parent, and an admissions officer at some of America's most respected independent and boarding schools. I've read the applications, sat in the committee rooms, and lived alongside students in the dorms — so I know firsthand what sets a successful candidate apart, and where good students quietly lose their place.

Over those years I learned that admission is rarely about the "best" student on paper — it's about fit, story and strategy. The families who thrive are the ones who understand what a school is genuinely looking for, and who present their child with clarity and confidence.

I founded The Boarding School Blueprint to put that perspective to work for families like yours — lifting the lid on a famously opaque process and turning it into a clear, confident plan for your child.

Today I'm fortunate to guide families across the country and around the world, and to have shared this approach with many more through my writing. But the best part of this work never changes: the call when a family learns their child is in — at a school where they will truly belong.
